To Ask for Money

I never learned about how much to ask for what work I do. I've never worked as a freelancer before and what I decided was to wait for what my employer will judge my worth for the work I do. I did give all my efforts to finish the job in time. I wouldn't say that I worked my ass off, but I did put a lot of effort, some of which got wasted too.

But, when the time comes to get paid, it doesn't work well for me. First, they judged my worth so low than what I anticipated which made me reject their offer and then I gave them some time to rethink their offer. But now that so many days have gone by with me not getting paid that I feel bad for not negotiating it beforehand.

I don't know if I should have expected less or if they aren't being very professional. But, I wasn't very professional either. Let's hope they reconsider and I get paid well. I know that it's not going to reach my expectations but let's see what happens.
